Back in time
How ThatsLed.nl began
We – Jasper and Marcel – met each other in the hospitality industry. A world in which working hard, hospitality and going that extra mile for a customer are taken for granted. That is a mindset we have actually always carried with us.
Our shared interest in lighting came later. Through Jasper's father, who made a lot of bespoke lighting for listed buildings and churches, among other things, we came into contact with the sale of lamps. We found the profession interesting, saw opportunities and decided to get to work with it.
What started small kept on growing. We immersed ourselves in lighting technology, undertook training courses and gained a wealth of practical experience over the years. We do not just advise on lighting; we install it ourselves and carry out complete lighting projects. It is precisely this combination that has made us the lighting specialists we are today.
We now work directly with suppliers and manufacturers both in the Netherlands and abroad, and also have lighting manufactured to our own specifications. As a result, we know what is technically possible and what works well in practice.
We still love working with lighting, enjoy working with our hands and, above all, find great satisfaction in finding the right solution for a customer. Because no matter how much ThatsLed.nl grows, we never want to lose that touch of hospitality from the old days.
We are
Simply accessible, simply clear
ThatsLed.nl is not an anonymous online shop. If you have a question about a product, are unsure about the right light colour, or are not certain which dimmer is suitable, you can simply call, email, or message us. Jasper and Marcel are happy to think things through with you and provide practical advice so that you can order with confidence.
We believe that good lighting starts with the right choice. That is why we try to make our product information as clear as possible and are happy to help you if you cannot quite figure it out.
Not just any slogan
Lighting with service
Our slogan is “Lighting with service” for a good reason. We want you not only to buy a product, but also to be certain that it suits your needs. That could be a dimmable LED spot for the home, outdoor lighting for the garden, track lighting for a shop or floodlights for a warehouse or site.
We look at the application, the space and the use. This is how we prevent you from discovering afterwards that a lamp is too bright, a dimmer doesn't work properly or a fitting isn't suitable for outdoors.
Project-based
Also for business customers and projects
In addition to individual orders, we also help with larger requests. Think of lighting for hospitality venues, shops, warehouses, workshops, sites, riding arenas and other professional applications. We are happy to advise on product selection, quantities and a suitable quotation.
Do you have a project or would you like to order more frequently as a business customer? Then we would be happy to discuss a practical solution with you.
