Very pleased with this dimmer. It really doesn't fall short of the more expensive variants!
Other Gerben –
This dimmer is special because it has a mechanical on/off switch. That is, it can be placed behind a switch (e.g., a classic switch clock) and still remember its on/off position. It also remembers the dimming value. All the LED dimmers I have tried for this purpose either didn’t remember the dimming value between on and off, or they didn’t remember their on/off position. This is the only dimmer I know of that can do that. (The other reviewer is also named Gerben; that’s a stupid coincidence.)
